The green spider crab ( Mithrax sculptus ) is an unusual and very useful crab species for saltwater aquariums. With its bright green, finely textured claws and long legs, it is not only a fascinating sight but also plays an important role in the aquarium ecosystem. It is known for its ability to eat algae, thus helping to keep the aquarium clean.

• Color: Light green to olive green with a fine structure on the shell, giving it a "spider web-like" appearance
• Size: Can grow up to 7 cm
